Vision, Values and Ethos

Our visions and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.

Our school educates young children from ages four to eleven:
  • The Early Years Foundation Stage (Reception Class age 4-5)
  • Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2, ages 5-7)
  • Key Stage 2 (Years 3 to 6, ages 7-11)
We are fully committed to the development of every child in partnership with parents, carers and the community.

Our school is committed to providing an excellent education for all our pupils and we aim to:
  • Provide an exciting, broad and balanced curriculum which stretches children by allowing their imagination to develop
  • Develop children's love for the outdoors to support their mental health and wellbeing
  • Provide a safe, supportive and stimulating atmosphere enabling all children to succeed whatever their background or abilities
  • Develop children creatively, socially, emotionally and spiritually to take pride in their learning
  • Forge strong relationships with parents and the community
  • Encourage children to become independent learners who can think reflectively and co operate and show respect for others as well as for themselves
  • Help our children to face the future with self confidence
  • Know all our children as individuals, who matter
We believe in a diverse and rich education that will instil in all of our children a lifelong love of learning. As a relatively new school we are in an ideal position to develop and place ourselves at the heart of the community it serves, a school of which everyone can be proud and where building relationships is the key.
