Statutory assessments take place in May each year for KS1 and KS2.
Key Stage One assessments form part of the teacher's overall judgement. Children on the whole do not even realise they are taking these assessments as they form part of our day to day teaching and learning. We do not want to put stress on children unnecessarily.
Key Stage Two assessments are statutory and follow exam conditions. All children are expected to attend 100% during the week of these assessments.
